Black Vista Shortcut Overlay is a shortcut overlay replacement designed for Windows Vista and can be installed with the completely free program Vista Shortcut Manager. Vista Shortcut Manager can be downloaded from Frameworkx's website at:

Black Vista Shortcut Overlay's design is very similar to the default shortcut overlay, but is black and more importantly omits the background box, enabling the user to view more icon and less overlay
